Cattle Lungworm (Only) Faecal Egg Count Kit
All kits contain a prepaid returns envelope. Our kits contains all that you need to carry out a faecal egg count for an individual sheep or flock.
We screen for the following:
- Dictyocaulus (Lungworm) – (separate kit – tested using modified Baermann tequnique) Please select this option from dropdown box under ‘Type’ above.
The information on both the number and type of parasites can then be used to determine whether or not an anti-parasitic treatment is required. This way you are only worming or targeted worming when required, reducing the risk of resistance to wormers.
